They can change our transmission from MPEG2 to MPEG4 and accept our new pla= yout very soon, probably as soon as 1st of July. I had some thinking and a new discussion with Globecast= =2E

 

They can change our transmi= ssion from MPEG2 to MPEG4 and accept our new playout very soon, probably as= soon as 1st of July.

These 2 operations will save us around 6 000=E2=82=AC, quite close= enough from the 10 000=E2=82=AC that we could have save with IP only = and it will be simpler for all our cable operators. Now on, all STB can acc= ept both MPEG4 and MPEG2. The quality will be much better in MPEG4 (improve= ment of 30% in the bandwidth). We will not change satellite (we could have = save 2000=E2=82=AC a month if we would have changed for Eurobird 9=C2=B0). = So it is just some adjustment for the cable operator technical department a= nd not a complicate one.
